April 15, 2007. Clear your schedule. Bellingham's 1st Annual Barista Jam (AKA Jam in the 'Ham) is being held at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center. Just a taste of what's happening:
-Black Gold the movie.
-Finca Vista Hermosa seed to cup journey.
-Clover 1s demonstration.
-Cupping seminar by Victrola.
-La Marzocco Swift vs Mazzer Major "shoot out".
-Raw milk demonstration.
-Awesome Barista tools.
-Rotating "Roaster Showcase" of local and regional roasters and their Barista of choice.
-More stuff in the works.

2007 MIDWEST REGIONAL BARISTA COMPETITION
The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) is proud to present the 2007 Midwest Regional Barista Competition (MWRBC), hosted by The Roasterie, inc.
The MWRBC will take place January 19 & 20, 2007 at:
The Boulevard Brewing, Co.
2501 Southwest Blvd.
Kansas City, MO 64108
The 2007 MWRBC is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC & FREE OF CHARGE!
The MWRBC is still in need of volunteers, if you or someone you know is interested in volunteering at the 2007 MWRBC, please direct them to the link posted below for a Registration Form.

Arizona Barista Jam 2007
The Coffee Vein and Rocket Coffee Roasters present:
Arizona Barista Jam 2007
January 7th-8th 2007 at The Coffee Vein in Tucson, AZ
This will be Arizona's first ever Jam, so we hope to see a bunch of Arizona's Barista and coffee pro's!
There will be a FREE GeekFest/Home Barista session on Sunday the 7th from 6pm - 9pm.
